Three generations,
one obsession with freshness
We started as a family trading spices at the Kochi market. Today we ship the same lots directly to home kitchens across India — skipping every middleman that used to sit between the farm and your dinner.
From the Western Ghats to your kitchen
Kerala's monsoon-fed hills produce spices that simply cannot be replicated elsewhere. Malabar peppercorns get their pungency from the region's humidity. Idukki cardamom draws its sweetness from altitude. Alleppey turmeric owes its deep colour to curcumin levels that routinely test above 5%.
The problem was never the spice — it was everything that happened afterwards. Spices were bought at auction, blended with unknown lots, stored for months in warehouses, then ground long before anyone cooked with them. By the time a packet reached a shelf, most of the volatile oils that carry aroma had already evaporated.
Pepper Crown exists to close that gap. We buy from named estates we visit in person, sun-dry the slow traditional way, and mill in small batches the week an order ships. Nothing sits. Nothing gets blended with filler.
What we promise
- ✓ Traceable sourcing. Every batch can be traced back to the estate and harvest that produced it.
- ✓ No adulteration, ever. No artificial colour, no starch filler, no anti-caking agents, no preservatives.
- ✓ Fair prices at the farm. We pay growers above the auction rate because quality this consistent deserves it.
- ✓ Money back if we disappoint. Open the pouch, smell it. If it isn't clearly better, we refund you in full.
Taste what the difference means
